Beginning with cribs and high chairs, Jason has always loved climbing things, Beautiful things, Gnarly things covered with thingy things. And whether it is a sculpture or a climbing wall, he continues to seek out new things to climb. Jason has been climbing in some form or another for most of his life and has been interested in art for just as long. Jason started rock climbing over 13 years ago and has been climbing professionally for 10 years. His major achievements to date include winning the 2006 Everest Award and being the first person to solo 5.14d with his dazzling boulder ascent of They Fly in Runmey, NH. Climbing has always been interesting to him because it is a great way to express yourself using your body, sometimes aggressive and sometimes slow and seductive like a ritualistic dance.
